Progetto fotografico: Gods and Goddesses

The Gods and Goddesses è un progetto artistico, nato dall’esigenza di incontrare l’archetipo presente in ogni essere umano. Donne e uomini moderni che interpretano Uomini e donne del passato; icone, simbolo di forza e fragilità. I ritratti raccontano un viaggio di rappresentazione di dee e dei; la forza di Atena, la malizia e il legame di Persefone, l’orrore enigmatico di Strenia, il crocevia sublime di Ecate, l’ingenuità di Dafne e l’autorità matriarcale di Giunone fino all’infinito che attende la Sibilla.
Il dio e la dea, nelle fotografie, sono rappresentati non nel momento in cui esprimono il proprio splendore ma nelle proprie debolezze, quindi nell’umanità.

Photographic project: Gods and Goddesses

 The Gods and Goddesses is an artistic project, it born from the need to meet the archetype present in every human being. Modern Women and Men who play Men and Women of the past; icons, symbol of strength and fragility. The portraits tell a path of representation of the goddesses and gods; the strength of Athena, the malice and bond of Persephone, the enigmatic horror of Strenia, the sublime crossroads of Hecate, the naivety of Daphne and the matriarchal authority of Juno until the infinite waiting for the Sibyl.

The god and the goddess, in the photographs, are represented not in the moment in which they express their own splendor but in their own weaknesses, therefore in humanity.
